Adding Beneficiaries
Beneficiaries are the people or organizations who will inherit from your estate.
How to Add a Beneficiary
- Navigate to the Will section
- Find the Beneficiaries section
- Click Add Beneficiary
- Fill in their details:
- Full name
- Relationship to you
- Identity/passport number
- Contact information
- Percentage of estate
- Any special conditions
Understanding Percentages
- Percentages should total 100% across all beneficiaries
- Consider what happens if a beneficiary predeceases you
- Special bequests are separate from percentage distributions
Types of Beneficiaries
- Individuals - Family members, friends
- Organizations - Charities, religious institutions
- Trusts - For minor children or special circumstances
Special Conditions
You can add conditions such as:
- Age requirements (e.g., "upon reaching age 25")
- Educational milestones
