Choosing an Executor
Consider someone who is:
- Trustworthy and honest
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Capable of handling financial matters
- Willing to take on the responsibility
- Geographically accessible
How to Add an Executor
- Go to the Will section
- Find Executors
- Click Add Executor
- Enter their details:
- Full name
- Contact information
- Relationship to you
Tips
- Appoint alternates - In case your primary executor cannot serve
- Discuss with them - Make sure they're willing to accept the role
- Consider professionals - Attorneys or trust companies can serve as executors
